• Mental health screening data cannot be used for instructional, academic, or disciplinary decisions and must be destroyed within 60 days of collection or after parent notification, whichever is earlier.

• Creates "student mental health supports revenue" category allowing school districts and charter schools to receive funding for two full-time mental health support staff positions per 2,000 or fewer students, based on statewide average salary and benefits.
