Sauk Rapids may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to entities holding management or concessions contracts for operations within Bob Cross Regional Park, authorized only for serving alcohol to persons attending scheduled events within the park.

Sauk Rapids may issue an on-sale intoxicating liquor license to entities holding concessions or management contracts for operation of a regional event center located within Lions Park or Southside Park, authorized only for serving alcohol to persons attending scheduled events within those parks.

Both licenses authorize sales on all days of the week and are issued in addition to the number of licenses otherwise authorized by law or ordinance.

All other provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, apply except where inconsistent with this section.

The section becomes effective upon approval by the Sauk Rapids City Council and compliance with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021.
