Amends Minnesota Statutes section 43A.17 to add compensation requirements for law enforcement officer collective bargaining agreements.

Defines "law enforcement officers" as Minnesota State Patrol troopers, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents, gambling enforcement special agents, conservation officers, Department of Corrections fugitive specialists, and Department of Commerce insurance fraud specialists.

Requires the commissioner of management and budget to base compensation negotiations on data from the most recent salary and benefits survey conducted under section 299D.03, subdivision 2a.

Declares that use of pattern bargaining or internal equity data in compensation negotiations constitutes bad faith in negotiations.

Effective the day following final enactment and expires January 1, 2032, applying only to contracts entered into during that period.
