Expands existing health professional loan forgiveness program to include nurses practicing in school districts or charter schools, joining other eligible professions like medical residents, mental health professionals, and nurses in nursing homes.

Requires grant recipients and scholarship program administrators to report annually to the Department of Education and legislative committees on program participation, funding use, and employment outcomes of program participants.

Appropriates funds from the general fund to the Department of Education for school nurse recruitment grants and scholarships, effective July 1, 2022.
