Requires Minnesota Medical Assistance to cover seizure detection devices as durable medical equipment starting January 1, 2023, or upon federal approval, whichever is later.

Seizure detection devices are covered only when medically appropriate based on the recipient's medical condition and when a health care provider identifies that the device would reduce bodily harm or death from seizures, or provide diagnostic data.

Defines "seizure detection device" as a Food and Drug Administration approved monitoring device including related services and subscriptions that either detect nocturnal seizures and alert caregivers, or collect seizure activity data for health care providers to diagnose or treat the seizure condition.

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2021 Supplement, section 256B.0625, subdivision 31, which governs medical supplies and equipment coverage under Medical Assistance.
