• Excludes persons employed by the Duluth Transit Authority who are members of Teamsters General Local Union 346 from participation in the Public Employees Retirement Association general employees retirement plan.

• These excluded Duluth Transit Authority employees receive pension coverage through the Central States Southeast and Southwest Areas Pension Fund instead.

• Adds a new category (22) to Minnesota Statutes section 353.01, subdivision 2b listing excluded employees from PERA participation.

• Effective date is conditional upon the date when Duluth Transit Authority employees become classified as public employees under Minnesota Statutes section 353.01, subdivision 2.
