Requires transfer care specialists to complete an approved 7-hour training program covering ethical care procedures, health and safety, and relevant laws; must be renewed every 5 years.

Transfer care specialist registrations expire one year after issuance and require renewal with appropriate fees; registration limited to individuals employed by licensed funeral establishments.

Establishes that a licensed mortician may supervise up to two transfer care specialists at any one time, with the supervising mortician responsible for work performed by transfer care specialists.

Amends multiple sections of mortuary science law to include transfer care specialists in regulatory provisions, disciplinary actions, professional conduct standards, and reporting requirements.
