• Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 144.497 to modify the commissioner of health's duties regarding ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care quality assessment and reporting.

• Removes the requirement for the commissioner to quarterly post summary reports of STEMI data on the Department of Health website.

• Removes the requirement for the commissioner to annually inform legislative committees with jurisdiction over public health about progress in improving STEMI care quality and patient outcomes.

• Requires the commissioner to utilize and analyze STEMI data from receiving centers through the ACTION Registry-Get with the Guidelines or equivalent data platform that does not identify individuals.

• Requires the commissioner to coordinate with national voluntary health organizations to encourage STEMI receiving centers to report data consistent with nationally recognized treatment guidelines and share information among healthcare providers to improve care quality.
