Amends Minnesota Statutes section 477A.03, subdivision 2b, to adjust county program aid appropriations for aids payable in 2023 and thereafter (amount to be determined).

Maintains total aid payable under section 477A.0124, subdivision 3, at $118,795,000 for aids payable in 2021 and 2022, with $3,000,000 allocated as required under Laws 2014, chapter 150, article 4, section 6.

Sets total aid payable under section 477A.0124, subdivision 4, at $145,873,444 for aids payable in 2021 and 2022, with amount to be determined for 2023 and thereafter.

Requires transfer of $500,000 annually from county program aid appropriation to the Board of Public Defense for payment of services under section 611.27, with unused amounts returned to county need aid certification.

Effective for aids payable in calendar year 2023 and thereafter.
