• Extends driver's license revocation and cancellation provisions to operating privileges for off-road recreational vehicles and motorboats for alcohol, controlled substance, or intoxicating substance violations.

• Applies the same revocation and cancellation provisions to off-road recreational vehicle and motorboat operating privileges for manslaughter resulting from motor vehicle operation and criminal vehicular homicide or injury under Minnesota Statutes sections 609.2112, 609.2113, 609.2114, or 2012 section 609.21.

• Requires the commissioner to notify a person convicted of any covered violation that they are prohibited from operating off-road recreational vehicles and motorboats for the same period their driver's license or driving privilege is revoked or canceled.

• The law is effective August 1, 2022, and applies to violations committed on or after that date.
