• Commissioner of health shall establish a pilot program enrolling up to 15 adults with intellectual disabilities to receive fitness facility access, dietitian services, wellness education, and fitness trackers to track health metrics.

• County case managers and special needs care plan coordinators may refer individuals with intellectual disabilities for pilot program enrollment, and participants may receive small incentives for participation.

• Commissioner shall issue a report by November 1, 2023, to legislative committees with jurisdiction over health and human services detailing how pilot program participation impacted participant health and quality of life.

• $400,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of health for the obesity study and wellness pilot program as a one-time appropriation.
