Establishes concurrent authority between the Commissioner of Natural Resources and the Board of Animal Health to regulate farmed white-tailed deer under Minnesota Statutes sections 35.155 and 35.92 to 35.96.

Clarifies that concurrent authority does not grant the Commissioner additional powers under chapter 35 beyond those specified in sections 35.155 and 35.92 to 35.96 and related administrative rules.

Requires the Commissioner of Natural Resources and Board of Animal Health to submit a joint report by February 1, 2022 to legislative committees with jurisdiction over environment, natural resources, and agriculture.

Report must include a summary of agency coordination efforts and any challenges, assessment of ongoing chronic wasting disease management challenges, and recommendations for statutory and programmatic changes to better manage the disease.
