• Extends the expiration period of Moorhead's local sales tax from 22 years to 30 years after the tax is first imposed.

• Allows the city to terminate the tax earlier than 30 years by ordinance if desired.

• Exempts the modified termination date from standard Minnesota Statutes requirements in section 297A.99, subdivision 2.
