Forgives the city of Bena's withheld 2021 local government aid payment under Minnesota Statutes section 477A.013 that was penalized under section 477A.017, subdivision 3.

Forgives the city of Bena's withheld 2021 small city assistance payment under Minnesota Statutes section 162.145 that was penalized under section 162.145, subdivision 3, paragraph (c).

Requires the state auditor to certify to the commissioner of revenue that the city submitted its annual financial reporting form for 2020 by June 1, 2022 as a condition for receiving the forgiven payments.

Directs the commissioner of revenue to pay $43,774 to the city of Bena by June 30, 2022.

Becomes effective the day following final enactment.
