$500,000 appropriated from the general fund in fiscal year 2023 to the commissioner of public safety to establish and operate a hub center for opioid-related services.

Hub center to be operated in consultation with the commissioner of human services and focus on Native American youth and young adults and other youth and young adults of color, including Black, Latinx, and Somali populations.

Hub center must provide peer-to-peer advocacy training, culturally sensitive treatment program training, navigation to Rule 25 treatment services, and community readiness assessments for prevention and treatment strategies.

Hub center to develop strategies for drug and alcohol policy changes at the state level and advocate for implementation of these changes.

Hub center must create and implement a statewide social, print, and billboard campaign addressing opioid and other addiction issues.
