School boards must not establish a start time before 8:30 a.m. for secondary schools in the district, effective for the 2023-2024 school year and later.

School boards must not establish a school transportation schedule with a bus pickup time before 7:00 a.m. for elementary school students in the district.

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 120A.41 to add provisions regarding school start times while maintaining existing requirements for instructional hours and school calendar days.
