Recognizes the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on low-income communities and communities of color, which experienced higher rates of infection and death.

Honors the selfless actions of public servants, frontline workers, essential workers, and healthcare professionals who protected communities during the pandemic.

Expresses support for memorializing those lost to COVID-19 and recognizing survivors who continue to experience unknown long-term health effects from the virus.
