Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 471.59, subdivision 1 to add historic preservation corps to the definition of "governmental unit" for intergovernmental contracting purposes.

Defines "historic preservation corps" as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization providing on-the-job training and workforce development to youth and young adults through repair and maintenance of historic structures, buildings, and sites.

Grants historic preservation corps the same rights and liabilities available to other governmental units under the intergovernmental cooperation statute, enabling them to enter into joint agreements with cities, counties, states, tribes, and other entities.
