Prohibits mental health practitioners and professionals from engaging in conversion therapy with clients under 18 years of age or vulnerable adults, effective the day following final enactment.

Classifies conversion therapy attempted with minors or vulnerable adults as unprofessional conduct subject to disciplinary action by the appropriate licensing board.

Excludes conversion therapy from medical assistance coverage under Minnesota Statutes section 256B.0625.

Prohibits fraudulent advertising or sale of conversion therapy services or products that misrepresent homosexuality as a mental disease, disorder, or illness, or guarantee changes to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Defines conversion therapy as practices seeking to change sexual orientation or gender identity, excluding supportive counseling for gender transition, acceptance, coping support, or identity exploration that does not seek to change orientation or identity.
