Exempts hot tubs and spa pools located on rental houseboats from public pool regulations and state health sanitary requirements under Minnesota Statutes section 144.1222 and Minnesota Rules chapter 4717.

Exempts spa pools on stand-alone single-unit rental properties from public pool regulations when rented by the property owner or through a resort and used only by occupants of that property.

Requires conspicuous posting of a specific notice at exempt spa pools stating the facility is exempt from state and local sanitary requirements and must be used "at your own risk."

Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 144.1222, subdivision 2d to establish these exemptions.
