Enacts the Uniform Registration of Canadian Money Judgments Act in Minnesota Statutes chapter 548, establishing a streamlined registration process for Canadian money judgments in Minnesota courts.

Allows persons seeking to enforce Canadian judgments to register them directly with a court administrator instead of filing a separate recognition action, requiring submission of an authenticated copy of the judgment and specified financial and personal information.

Registered Canadian judgments have the same effect as recognized foreign judgments under existing law but cannot be enforced through property sale, seizure, or garnishment until 31 days after notice is served on the judgment debtor.

Permits the judgment debtor to petition the court within 30 days of notice to vacate the registration based on grounds for denying recognition or failure to comply with registration requirements; courts must grant a stay of enforcement if the debtor establishes likelihood of success on the merits.

Allows judgment creditors to seek Canadian judgment recognition either through this new registration process or through the existing foreign judgment recognition procedure, but not both for the same judgment against the same person.
