Amends Minnesota Statutes section 120B.20 to require school districts to allow parents, guardians, or adult students (18+) to review all instructional materials without cost and immediately upon request.

Permits parents or guardians to arrange alternative instruction if they object to curriculum content, including providing their own alternative instruction if school board options do not meet their concerns.

Prohibits school personnel from imposing academic or other penalties on students solely for arranging alternative instruction, though personnel may still evaluate and assess student work quality.

Requires school districts to notify parents of this policy at the beginning of each school year via United States mail, e-mail, or other direct communication and include the policy in the official school handbook or policy guide.

Clarifies that school boards are not required to pay for alternative instruction provided by parents or guardians.
