Expands the definition of pharmacy practice to allow pharmacists to administer drugs through intramuscular and subcutaneous injection for treatment of alcohol or opioid dependence under a prescription drug order.

Authorizes pharmacists to administer intramuscular and subcutaneous drugs to treat mental illnesses either upon prescriber order with post-administration notification or pursuant to a protocol or collaborative practice agreement.

Adds a new provision allowing pharmacists to participate in placement of drug monitoring devices according to a prescription, protocol, or collaborative practice agreement.

Requires pharmacists administering drugs for mental illness treatment under a protocol or collaborative practice agreement to document changes in drug therapy in the patient's medical record or report them to the responsible practitioner.
