• Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 365.10, subdivision 11, which governed maintenance of closed or abandoned town roads.

• Eliminates the provision allowing town electors to let the town board determine whether to open or maintain town roads and cartways that had no maintenance or construction for 25 years or more.

• Removes the exception to section 163.16 that previously applied to such abandoned town roads.

• Does not affect the separate rights of town voters or land owners to petition to establish a cartway under section 164.08.
