Creates new statute 366.183 granting town boards that previously adopted land use and zoning regulations under chapter 366 the same authority available under chapter 462.

Repeals 13 existing statutes (366.10 through 366.181) that established the former township zoning authorization process, including voter approval requirements, zoning district procedures, and penalty provisions.

Effective date is the day following final enactment for both the new authority provision and the repeal of existing statutes.
