Increases the maximum annual earnings for school board members employed by a school district from $8,000 to $20,000 in a fiscal year.

Requires a reasonable expectation at the beginning of the fiscal year or when a contract is entered into that earnings will not exceed the $20,000 limit.

Mandates majority approval from all board members present at a meeting for initial employment or continued employment of a board member as a district employee.

Immediately terminates employment and removes further employment rights if a board member does not receive required majority approval.

Effective date is July 1, 2022.
