Expands coverage for scalp hair prostheses to include hair loss from ectodermal dysplasias in addition to alopecia areata, subject to standard co-payment and deductible requirements.

Mandates health plans provide coverage for dental treatments related to ectodermal dysplasias, including bone grafts, dental implants, orthodontia, dental prosthodontics, and dental maintenance, with secondary coverage if eligible under a separate dental plan.

Defines ectodermal dysplasias as a genetic disorder involving the absence or deficiency of tissues and structures derived from the embryonic ectoderm.

Extends coverage requirements to Medical Assistance and MinnesotaCare programs for treatment of ectodermal dysplasias across fee-for-service, managed care plans, county-based purchasing plans, and integrated health partnerships.
