$2,000,000 appropriated from bond proceeds fund to the Board of Water and Soil Resources for a grant to the city of Beardsley for predesign, design, removal, replacement, or repair of a drain line in the Dry Lake gravity pipe system

Project aims to remove excess water from Dry Lake and prevent flooding in the Beardsley area

City of Beardsley must coordinate the project with the Upper Minnesota River Watershed District

Appropriation becomes available only when the commissioner of management and budget determines sufficient funding is committed to complete the project

Commissioner of management and budget authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $2,000,000 to provide the appropriated funds, effective the day following final enactment
