Amends Minnesota Statutes 2020, section 346.155, subdivision 7 to modify exemptions to regulated animal possession prohibitions and requirements.

Adds the Zoological Association of America as an accredited institution exempt from regulated animal possession restrictions, alongside the existing American Zoo and Aquarium Association exemption.

Maintains six existing exemption categories: wildlife sanctuaries, licensed game farms with fur-bearing animals or bears, the Department of Natural Resources and permitted persons, licensed or accredited research/medical institutions, and USDA licensed exhibitors in circuses, carnivals, rodeos, or fairs.
