Appropriates $1,002,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2023 to the Commissioner of Employment and Economic Development for grants supporting new Americans.

Funds support services including case management, job training and employment services, education programs, and legal services to facilitate community integration and workforce entry.

Allocates $325,000 to the International Institute of Minnesota and $325,000 to the Minnesota Council of Churches.

Allocates $223,000 to Arrive Ministries and $127,000 to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Winona, Inc.
