Appropriates $1,000,000 from the general fund in fiscal year 2023 to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to YWCA St. Paul.

Grant funding is designated for predesign and design activities related to renovation of the YWCA building on Western Avenue in St. Paul.

Appropriation becomes available only when the commissioner of management and budget determines that sufficient resources have been committed to complete the full project.

Funds remain available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.
