Appropriates $4,400,000 in fiscal year 2023 from the general fund to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to the city of Inver Grove Heights.

Funds preliminary design, final design, right-of-way acquisition, easement acquisition, and reconstruction of 117th Street from Rich Valley Boulevard (Dakota County Road 71) to approximately 800 feet east of Trunk Highway 52.

Includes intersection improvements in both directions up to 1,000 feet and relocation and construction of public utilities including sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer facilities.

Aims to improve safety, mobility, and traffic conditions on the project corridor.

Appropriation is onetime and available until project completion or abandonment, subject to Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642; effective the day following final enactment.
