Commissioner of health establishes task force comprised of representatives from community health care organizations and Community Care Clinic of Minnesota to research health disparities and provide recommendations to state and local agencies by December 30, 2025.

Task force members must have knowledge and expertise in addressing health disparities and inequities, with compensation governed by Minnesota Statutes section 15.059, subdivision 6.

Commissioner of health issues grant to Community Care Clinic of Minnesota to conduct research and provide recommendations on 17 specific topics including Centers of Excellence, educational curriculum, loan forgiveness programs, and community health clinic services.

Community Care Clinic must address medically underserved areas (MUA) and health professional shortage areas (HPSA), including strategies for mobile clinics, mentoring programs, and two-year health care programs in community colleges.

An unspecified amount from the general fund in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated to the commissioner of health for the grant to Community Care Clinic of Minnesota.
