Eliminates the nighttime operation restriction that previously prohibited personal watercraft operation between one hour before sunset and 9:30 a.m.

Renumbers remaining operational requirements but maintains all other existing restrictions including slow-no wake speed requirements within 150 feet of shorelines, docks, swimmers, and other watercraft.

Retains mandatory wearable personal flotation device requirements approved by the United States Coast Guard for all persons on board.

Keeps existing requirements for engine cutoff switches, observer presence or rear-view mirrors when towing, prohibition of throttle mechanism tampering, and wildlife harassment restrictions.

Maintains rules decal display requirement and general safety provisions against unreasonably endangering life, property, or operating through congested traffic.
