Amends Minnesota Statutes section 609.221 to create new assault offenses and mandatory minimum sentences for attacks on peace officers, judges, prosecuting attorneys, and correctional employees.

Establishes three new assault categories: using deadly force (10-20 year minimum), inflicting great bodily harm (15-25 year minimum), and using dangerous weapons or deadly force resulting in great bodily harm (25-30 year minimum).

Increases maximum penalties from $30,000 to $35,000-$40,000 in fines depending on the offense severity.

Eliminates eligibility for probation, parole, discharge, work release, or supervised release until the full minimum sentence is served, and prohibits courts from staying sentence execution.

Effective August 1, 2021, applying to crimes committed on or after that date.
