SF971 - Omnibus Legacy Finance Bill Summary

• Outdoor Heritage Fund: Appropriates $127.8 million (FY 2022) and $557,000 (FY 2023) for land acquisition, habitat restoration, and wildlife management across prairies, forests, wetlands, and habitats through partnerships with conservation organizations.

• Clean Water Fund: Appropriates $126.7 million (FY 2022) and $130.1 million (FY 2023) for water quality protection, groundwater assessment, TMDL implementation, subsurface sewage treatment systems, and grants to local governments for watershed restoration.
