Commends Leticia Guadarrama for more than 30 years of dedicated service to the teaching profession and her retirement from Minneapolis Public Schools Department of Global Education.

Recognizes her Masters of Education in Second Languages and Cultures from the University of Minnesota and over 37 years of work with BIPOC youth and families in education.

Highlights her contributions including developing college readiness programming for language minority and at-risk students, recruiting multilingual and bilingual teachers, and supporting equitable access to the Global Education initiative.

Acknowledges her service on the Minnesota Council on Latino Affairs, Edina's Human Rights & Relations Commission, and the Minnesota Advisory Committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights, as well as her national presentations for education organizations.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare and transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Leticia Guadarrama.
