Delays the review of physical education academic standards and related benchmarks from the 2022-2023 school year to the 2026-2027 school year, with subsequent reviews every ten years thereafter.

Maintains existing review schedules for other subject areas: arts (2017-2018), science (2018-2019), language arts (2019-2020), and social studies (2020-2021).

Requires the commissioner of education to examine alignment of academic standards with career and college readiness during each ten-year review cycle.

Mandates inclusion of Minnesota American Indian tribes and communities' contributions in the review and revision of academic standards.

Requires statewide mathematics assessments for grades 3-8 and 11 to remain aligned with state academic standards, with reviews beginning in 2021-2022 and every ten years thereafter.
