Amends Minnesota Statutes section 65B.49 to establish time limitation requirements for motor vehicle insurance reparation security plans.

Sets a default six-year time limitation for plans of reparation security under section 541.05, subdivision 1, clause (1), unless otherwise expressly provided in statute.

Establishes a four-year time limitation for commencing a cause of action relating to underinsured motorist coverage under section 65B.49, subdivision 3a, measured from the date of accrual.

Effective August 1, 2023, and applies to insurance contracts issued or renewed on or after that date.
