Expands pharmacist authority to initiate, order, and administer federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act-waived laboratory tests, with ability to collect specimens, interpret results, notify patients, and refer for follow-up care.

Permits licensed pharmacists to initiate, order, and administer all FDA-authorized or approved vaccines to individuals 3 years of age and older (lowered from 6 years for COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, and 13 years for other vaccines).

Allows pharmacists to delegate vaccine administration authority to pharmacy technicians or pharmacy interns who complete ACPE-approved immunization training and have cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.

Requires medical assistance coverage for vaccines and laboratory tests initiated, ordered, or administered by licensed pharmacists at rates equivalent to services provided by other licensed practitioners.

Coverage effective January 1, 2024, or upon federal approval, whichever is later.
