Requires the commissioner to provide information about the medical assistance program for employed persons with disabilities at initial enrollment and at least annually to all medical assistance enrollees who indicate they have a disability.

Removes asset limits for persons eligible under the employed persons with disabilities program (section 256B.057, subdivision 9), effective January 1, 2024, or upon federal approval.

Allows persons who lose employed person with disability status due to lost earnings to retain assets for 12 months without counting them toward asset limits, provided total assets remain within allowed limits.

Permits individuals disenrolled for nonpayment of premiums to reapply for medical assistance under the employed persons with disabilities program and be reenrolled if eligible without paying past due premiums.

Allows reimbursement of Medicare part A and part B coinsurance and deductibles for eligible enrollees with income not exceeding 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines who are enrolled in Medicare.
