Modifies Minnesota Statutes section 256B.439 to clarify that the commissioner may request aggregate, de-identified demographic information (age, race, ethnicity, and gender identity) from long-term care providers for consumer surveys.

Requires providers to furnish contact and demographic information available to them and must notify clients and key representatives that their information has been provided to the commissioner.

Establishes that the commissioner shall develop and administer resident experience surveys for assisted living facility residents and family surveys for families of assisted living facility residents.

Makes appropriated money for resident experience and family surveys available in either fiscal year of the biennium in which it is appropriated.

Requires assisted living facilities licensed under chapter 144G to participate in the surveys when the commissioner requests their participation.
