Amends Minnesota Statutes to require medical assistance to cover seizure detection devices as durable medical equipment under specific conditions.

Seizure detection devices are covered if medically appropriate based on the recipient's medical condition and the health care provider identifies that the device would reduce bodily harm or death from seizures, or provide diagnostic data.

Defines "seizure detection device" as a U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved monitoring device including related services and subscriptions that detect seizure activity and transmit alerts to caregivers or collect data for medical providers.

Effective January 1, 2024, or upon federal approval, whichever is later, with the commissioner of human services required to notify the revisor of statutes when federal approval is obtained.
