Adds allied health care technicians to the health professional education loan forgiveness program, requiring them to practice in Minnesota health care facilities, clinics, or health care settings with a minimum two-year service obligation.

Expands nurse eligibility to include those working in housing with services establishments and home care provider settings, in addition to existing facility types.

Increases annual loan forgiveness disbursements from 15 percent to 30 percent of average educational debt for nurses, health care technicians agreeing to teach, and allied health care technicians.

Appropriates $5,000,000 for fiscal years 2024 and 2025, with a base of $5,000,000 for fiscal years 2026 and 2027, then $0 in fiscal year 2028.

Updates references in the Trauma Advisory Council statute to reflect renumbered definition sections in the loan forgiveness program statute.
