• Modifies temporary permit requirements for respiratory therapist licensure in Minnesota by amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 147C.15, subdivision 3

• Requires applicants to be currently licensed as a respiratory therapist in another state, territory, or Canadian province to be eligible for a temporary permit

• Requires applicants to not be subject to pending investigation or disciplinary action in any state, territory, or Canadian province to receive a temporary permit

• Temporary permits remain nonrenewable and valid only until the board's decision on the licensure application or for 90 days, whichever occurs first

• Permits the board to revoke a temporary permit if the applicant becomes subject to investigation, disciplinary action, or is disqualified for licensure; effective the day following final enactment
