Amends Minnesota Statutes section 325D.44 to renumber deceptive trade practice clauses, with clause (13) establishing unfair methods of competition and unfair or unconscionable acts or practices as a specific category of deceptive trade practices, and former clause (13) becoming clause (14).

Adds Minnesota Statutes section 325D.44, subdivision 2(b) to apply the standard of proof from section 325F.69, subdivision 7 when determining whether conduct constitutes unfair methods of competition or unfair or unconscionable acts or practices under the deceptive trade practices statute.

Amends Minnesota Statutes section 325F.69, subdivision 1 to explicitly include "unfair or unconscionable practice" in the list of prohibited conduct that is enjoinable under consumer fraud statutes.

Creates new Minnesota Statutes section 325F.69, subdivision 7 establishing the standard of proof for unfair or unconscionable acts or practices: conduct that (1) offends public policy established by Minnesota statutes, rules, or common law; (2) is immoral, unethical, oppressive, or unscrupulous; or (3) is substantially injurious to consumers, competitors, or other businesspersons.
