Amends Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 3.757, subdivision 1 to expand the definition of "settling defendant" in opioid litigation matters.

Adds five new entities to the list of settling defendants: Teva Pharmaceuticals, Allergan plc, CVS Health Corporation, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc., and Walmart, Inc.

Expands the definition to include related subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and other related entities specifically named as released entities in a statewide opioid settlement agreement.

Defines "opioid litigation" as civil litigation, demands, or settlements alleging unlawful conduct related to marketing, sale, or distribution of opioids in Minnesota or other illegal actions contributing to excessive opioid use.

Defines "released claim" as any cause of action or claim released in a statewide opioid settlement agreement between the Minnesota Attorney General and a settling defendant.
