Appropriates funds in fiscal year 2024 from the general fund to the commissioner of management and budget for exoneration awards under the Imprisonment and Exoneration Remedies Act to three individuals: Terrell James Buechner ($810,431.86), Ronald James Fairbanks ($56,008.26), and Joe Maria Vento ($240,000).

Appropriates funds in fiscal year 2024 from the general fund to the commissioner of corrections for full and final payment of claims for losses suffered while incarcerated or injuries suffered while performing community service or sentence-to-service work.

Authorizes payment to Nicholas Edwards for permanent injuries to his right index finger at Minnesota Correctional Facility - Moose Lake ($3,940) and to Jeron Faulkner for permanent injuries to his left thumb at Minnesota Correctional Facility - Stillwater ($520.08).

Appropriates $2,968.12 for community service and sentence-to-service work claims under $7,000 and other claims already paid by the department.

Appropriates $43,200 for a minimum ascertainable partial permanent disability award to James Vandevender for injuries suffered at Minnesota Correctional Facility - Rush City, with this amount to be deducted from any full and final payment of the claim.
