• Participants must adopt automatic enrollment policies for students meeting state standards in language arts, mathematics, or science, with parents allowed to opt students out and alternative courses offered.

• Participating districts must prioritize recruiting teachers of color, notify parents two weeks before enrollment, provide tutoring support, and collect disaggregated data on student participation and outcomes.

• Grant funds must cover advanced placement fees for automatically enrolled students and may be used for teacher training, instructional materials, tutoring, administrative expenses, and teacher bonuses based on advanced placement exam passage.
