Repeals Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 148.211, subdivision 1c, which required advanced practice registered nurses to complete at least 2,080 hours of postgraduate practice within a collaborative agreement.

Eliminates the requirement that nurse practitioners and clinical nurse specialists practice in a hospital or integrated clinical setting working directly with physicians or other advanced practice registered nurses.

Removes the mandate for a written collaborative agreement designating the scope of collaboration between nurse practitioners or clinical nurse specialists and physicians or other advanced practice registered nurses.

Effective date of August 1, 2024, applies to nurses completing postgraduate practice requirements and any applications for licensure submitted on or after that date.
